Who can play

Anyone can play as a guest, without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.

Your account

Each account is for one person. Please use an email address you have access to, because it's how you can recover the account, and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, contact us at support@flicked.io.

Your display name can be seen by other players, for example next to your scores. Please choose one that doesn't impersonate anyone and isn't offensive. We may change a display name that doesn't meet this standard.

Fair play

Flicked.io is a competition, so every score should come from your own play. The following are not allowed:

• scripts, macros, aim assistance, or any software or hardware that aims or shoots for you;
• playing the same daily with more than one account;
• modifying the game or the data it sends to our servers.

Our server recalculates every ranked run from the shots you actually fired. Runs that don't pass these checks are flagged and left out of rankings, and repeated violations can lead to removed scores or a closed account. The Fair Play page explains how scores are checked.

Please also don't disrupt the game or its servers, or try to access other players' accounts or data.

The game and its content

The game, including its code, design, artwork and sound, belongs to us. You're welcome to play it and to share screenshots, videos and results. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the game itself.

We're always working on the game, so its modes, courses, scoring and ranks may change over time. To keep rankings fair and accurate, rank thresholds may be adjusted, results may be recalculated, and in rare cases a day or a leaderboard may be reset. The game may also be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance.

Coins and skins

When you play with an account, you earn coins for the targets you hit. Coins only exist inside the game. They have no cash value and can't be bought, sold, traded or exchanged for money. We may change a balance, for example to fix a mistake. Runs that break the fair play rules earn no coins.

You can spend coins on weapon skins. Skins only change how your weapon looks, never how it plays. A purchase is final: skins can't be refunded, traded or given to someone else, and we may adjust how a skin looks.

Your runs in our marketing

If you play with an account, you agree that we may use your runs as marketing material. For example, we may turn one of your best runs into a video that shows how you played, with your display name and score, and post it on our website or social media. You won't be paid for this. You can turn this off in Settings, and then we won't pick your runs for a video. If you want a posted video taken down, write to support@flicked.io and we will remove it.

Advertising

The game may show ads to cover its running costs. Ads appear only outside of play, never during a run. The Privacy Policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.

Closing your account

You can stop playing at any time, and you can delete your account and the data we keep about it from the Privacy Policy page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Warranties and liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running smoothly and your results safe, but we can't guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the game or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play after an update means you accept it. If you have any questions, write to support@flicked.io.
